Recycling used toner cartridges is a great way to minimize waste and make your office greener. Please follow the instructions below for recycling your Sharp and Lexmark toner cartridges.

Follow this four-step process to recycle your used sharp toner cartridges:
STEP 1.

When it is time to replace your toner, use the box that the new toner cartridge arrived in to pack up the old toner cartridge. Seal the box with packing tape. Do not use any other packaging.

STEP 2.

When possible, please return eight to ten empty toner cartridges per shipping label to help conserve resources, reduce energy use and minimize shipping costs. You may securely bundle multiple cartridge boxes together with tape, or seal multiple cartridge boxes inside a larger cardboard box. When bundling multiple cartridge boxes together, please ensure you have no more than two rows of four cartridge boxes across.

STEP 3.

Click on this Canada Post link to be re-directed to the Canada Post website. Complete the contact information and click “continue” to print the shipping label. Affix the label to the top of the box containing your used toner cartridge(s).

STEP 4.

If you already have a commercial pick-up agreement with Canada Post, simply include the box containing your used toner cartridge(s) with your daily outbound items. Otherwise, drop off the box at your nearest postal outlet.

If you require further information, please call 1-800-56-SHARP.

If your Lexmark toner does not come with a prepaid shipping label with instructions for returning empty toner cartridges, please use this link to access instructions.
