In celebration of Earth Day, we want to invite you to join us in a tree planting initiative that preserves our environment.
So, how can your organization get involved with our Earth Day initiative? We’ll get to that, but first, we want to tell you how the PrintReleaf program works.
How the PrintReleaf Program Offsets Your Environmental Footprint
PrintReleaf works with Com Pro’s existing software to measure our client’s paper consumption. Then it offsets the environmental footprint of each page by donating a portion to reforestation efforts around the world.
The program helps our clients consider the environmental footprint of their print activities. It’s also a unique way to give back and celebrate their commitment to the environment.
For each Com Pro client, a portion of every page printed is donated towards reforestation efforts in Canada, Madagascar and the Dominican Republic.
Com Pro currently donates $0.0005 per page printed on our client’s behalf. One tree is equal to 8,333 pages. A standard tree is defined as 40 feet tall and 7 feet wide.
Every Com Pro client can track their contribution to reforestation projects using an account with PrintReleaf. They receive lifetime impact statements and updates on the trees planted on their company’s behalf.

That’s just one way your organization can get involved in this unique initiative.
Donation for Reforestation
Com Pro donates $0.0005 per page printed on your client’s behalf, as mentioned earlier. If you want to match Com Pro’s donation, you will be charged $0.0005 for every page you print.
Say your organization prints 10,000 pages per month, you will be charged $5 to plant 1.2 trees in addition to Com Pro’s equal donation.
Com Pro will invoice you directly and make the donation on your behalf. Your donation will appear in your PrintReleaf account and your lifetime impact statement.
You can also make one time or periodic donations based on the number of trees your organization wishes to plant through the PrintReleaf program. You can plant one tree for $4.16 ($0.0005 x 8,333). Or plant ten trees for $41.60! Or a hundred trees for $416! You get the idea.
PrintReleaf partners with SGS International to ensure the donations only go to certified Global Forestry Partners. SGS leads field audits to verify 100% net survivability of the newly planted forests, and all projects are liable to replant and loss short of 100% net survivability.
